Personality Tips
Are You Being Loved?
"The most important thing in
life", said Anon, "is to love someone". The second most important
thing in life is to have someone loving you. The third most important thing is
to have the first two things happening at the same time!"
Surprising it may seem, all normal people in this world, irrespective of their
position, qualifications, age, sex or the hair style they sport, crave to be liked by others!.
And here is a quick one on how to ensure that others like you:
Love yourself:
And do that in spite of the color of your hair, size of your nose and
the marks you obtained in the grade examination. Understand that it is difficult for people
to like someone with a low self-esteem.
Seek occasion to compliment:
Because, majority of the human begins rather feel insecure and they always
instantly start liking a person who compliments them and thereby restores
back their confidence.
Show that you care: The word is show and not say. Many times, little touches of fellow feelings would
make a see of difference. A warm pat on the back or a friendly shake of the hand
often shows that we do share someone’s joy or sorrow a little.
Have a good sense of humor:
The emphasis is on the word good. Humour is no doubt the spice of life. But you
don’t add pepper in milk cakes, do you? What is very funny to you may cause hiccups
to your friends! Learn tolaugh with people, not at them!
Value the time of others:
If you have
nothing more to say, say nothing more. Keep your promises, even with
friends. Keep your appointments and return the books you have borrowed!
Notice the little things:
Little questions
like, ‘how was your trip?’, ‘Did you enjoy the party?’ or ‘Did your son win the
prize?’ would show that you are noticing what other people are doing and you
consider them important.
Say "Thank You": Even to your wife! It is always the closest persons,
whom we take for granted. Love thy neighbour is a good motto. Nevertheless, stop for a while
to think whether thy neighbour loves you!!
